Schlichter is always readable, and given his military background, he games this out quite nicely. What he doesn't game out, and the concept that frightens me the most, is what happens when the UN, or worse, the Chinese, decide to intervene? The Chinese would have the most to lose in such a scenario as we're their number one trading partner and debtor nation. They would have to intervene to protect that, and also because it would finally give them the world domination that they've sought for decades. And they've got the manpower (although perhaps not the logistics to move it across the Pacific), to completely upset his brigade coverage math.
Best bet, as he says, is just not to play this game.

Folks say the Chinese don’t have the ability to move their armies overseas, but I posit their state-owned shipping company can be used for that purpose.
Because as we all know, their government owns a giant container shipping company.
However, they lack a large Ro-Ro capacity. That handicaps them greatly.
Many scenarios involving Chinese intervention has them staging in Mexico. That makes things a lot simpler for them.

The Chinese showed little respect for Obama... In this scenario it's more likely the Chinese would side with us - not with liberals.
