You have forgotten the surveys that have been conducted fairly frequently by the military concerning the reaction of the American military when ordered to fire on the US civilian population. It wouldn’t happen except in isolated incidents. By and large the US military would refuse to take action against the US population. The number of Liberal officers is small in comparison to the number of conservative officers. The US Military would defend the constitution. The Russians and he Chinese have huge armies but don’t have the logistics capability to move them half way around the world and support them. A few divisions, maybe? They would face a resurgent and loyal US Military that would cut them to pieces on our home soil.
But this is why California secessionists have such an advantage.
Have you heard what comes out of the mouths of black Army soldiers when talking about “their white American” flag? How about the future officer corps at West Point with Che T-shirts or groups of black cadets with raised fists in solidarity against “the man”.
Or how a lesbian and her wife are running the USAF academy like a re-education camp.
Tell me about the patriotic FBI against that protested and resigned after Ruby Ridge, Waco or when Elian Gonzales was kidnapped and sent back to communist Cuba.
The paycheck and brain washing will make the military and police kill civilians. In their minds it will be an “us v them” and all they want is “to get home safe”. You are way to idealistic. Everybody wants to be a patriot till it’s time to do patriot stuff. My grandfather fought in the Mexican revolution and the Cristero war. A REAL civil war. The one thing he told me that stands out is , “the man with the gun make the rules. Don’t ever let go of your guns.”
