Unfortunately here in California, Bail is used as a weapon against those not wealthy in this State, it has nothing to do with wether or not you will show up to court and they do target minorities with excessive bail. God I hate saying that and having to agree with this clown on something, but in this case he actually has an argument worth debating.

Me: We agree. The bail system (and especially the excessively high bail amounts often demanded) can be very unfair (remembering especially that the people involved are PRE-TRIAL.. they are still INNOCENT at law, and yes, some of them are innocent, period).
It is, imho, just another part of how our legal system has been highly corrupted to serve certain entrenched special interests at the expense of justice and the rest of us.
