You are correct that many NRA members support things like bump stock and hi capacity magazine bans, etc

I'd like to see actual data to support that idea. I suspect it is more propaganda than reality.

Yes, but either way I think the NRA needs to be pushed by members to go on the offensive. We could not even be talking about bump stock bans or banning purchases to 20 year olds if the NRA would just focus on getting a repeal of the unconstitutional gun control acts of 34 and 68.

We as a society would never accept thousands of laws regulating freedom of speech and we should not accept laws regulating the 2nd amendment. They are both mutually exempt from government meddling in any way.
