Slide Fire Bump stock

If you can watch this video and still say that the this AR15, with a Bump Stock engaged, isn’t an automatic gun or machine gun, then you’re on drugs.
I don’t care much about bump stocks, but I don’t like this.
I have been maintaining here from the recent first appearance of “bump-fire stocks”, that Obama’s administration declared them legal to attack the ownership of all semi-automatic firearms. All semi-autos can be bump-fired, with or without bump-fire stock.
Good luck in 2018, Trump. I’ll be sitting home. Enjoy your impeachment in 2019.
Signed,
A former backer.
What about rubber bands? Those can be used for the same purpose.
Think of the comedy. You can now get wrestled to the ground and cuffed for carrying around a hollow piece of wood shaped like a gun stock and making machine gun noises. Your defense will be, “I didn’t install the spring on the bottom, Judge.”
You can fire a semi-automatic in ‘full auto’ with your belt loop. This is a big nothing.
Someone should pass a law against mass murder.
Next up—trucks, gasoline, drones, & muslims.../rolleyes
Just think. The DOJ could reclassify a water squirt gun, and suddenly call it a machine gun. That sounds ridiculous of course, but the point is that legally they could do it. The same goes for all the other regulated things in this country. They can add anything to a list anytime they want. Bypass congress. Bypass the people.
The Left is drooling for magazine restrictions. Little known fact, Cruz used ten round mags as they fit in his bag better.
Trump may very well lose his base before 2020.
Ever fired an “assault weapon” with a bump stock. It fires so fast that the ongoing instantaneous multiple rcoil actions by the weapon makes it almost unusable.
Here’s a youtube video showing how to use your finger to simulate a bump stock:

That can also be done using a belt loop and your hand in your pocket:

So if you own a bump stock but no firearm you still own a machine gun?
Things like that is why I have joined GOA instead of the NRA. In the meantime DOJ can't find any precious time to nail Hillary Clinton. But they'll work Saturdays at Union Overtime rate pay for doing crap like this.
There's bigger battles to fight here and bump stocks just don't figure into the picture.............
If you read the letter of the law, bump fire is not an automatic weapon. It is both illegal and unethical to pretend that it is, and I hope this will be challenged successfully in court. Words have meaning.
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/26/5845
The term machinegun means any weapon which shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot, automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger. The term shall also include the frame or receiver of any such weapon, any part designed and intended solely and exclusively, or combination of parts designed and intended, for use in converting a weapon into a machinegun, and any combination of parts from which a machinegun can be assembled if such parts are in the possession or under the control of a person.
Bump fire does not qualify under the law as written. They need a new unconstitutional law to ban/regulate them, since the current unconstitutional law falls short.
Words cease to have meaning.
Exactly what defines the name of a gun? Is there an official group which names them?
