If anyone’s wondering, Yountville is in “Wine Country,” not far north of San Francisco and fairly close to the city of Napa. This is an area of vineyards, wineries, restaurants, and the like, and if you’ve gone far enough north into the valley, you may have passed by the area.
The French Laundry, arguably (by most foodies) one of the finest restaurants in the world is a couple of blocks away.
