I wish he had just commuted the sentence. Taking the pics was a violation, and a violation is a violation.
I know what you mean, but context is important. He never should have gone to jail like that for being stupid, IMO.
I have to agree.
Now, arrest Hillary.
Yep, agree it’s a violation but the sentence does not fit the violation. Give him an Article 15, not prison.
Well, the next time you go speeding just remember your own comments.
The guy had already served a year in prison. I think he’s been punished enough without having to go through the rest of his life with a felony on his record.
Good point. But Obamas DOJ/FBI took it upon themselves to simply excuse Hillary for something she was all but indicted.
Unless your name is Clinton then nothing is a violation.
Commuted? He already served the time and is out.
The only commutation would have been a removal of the house arrest and his teather with a forever discharge on his record. Which would exclude him from many future employment opportunities, including firearms ownership.
Is that what you want?
You seem to have missed the point of his interview, Hillary was caught doing far greater offenses but she's walking.......
As for the pics, they were of the lowest level of security, confidential, which in essence is saying "you shouldn't take pictures here. We can't explain why since nothing here is secret, but you just shouldn't"
I don’t understand this. This guy disobeyed orders and seriously threatened our national security. This weakens our military and our national security in a serious way.
When thousands of treasonous acts have been ignored for decades, there is no reason not to pardon this kid for an innocent mistake.
>>I wish he had just commuted the sentence. Taking the pics was a violation, and a violation is a violation.
A submarine is our home. After a while, it loses the mystique and just becomes the place we live and work and then it tries to kill us. Everyone takes some pictures. I have a half roll of photos from the engine room taken in 1987. I glad he got a pardon.
Commute the sentence??? He has already served the sentence. Trump did the right thing. Two people should not be held to two different standards. It really is that simple.
I like God's version of things - we all committed violations that would have resulted in eternal damnation and when we came to Him, heart in hand, He not only commuted our sentences but decided He would no longer recognize our violations.....
