Since the accession of Franklin Roosevelt to the Presidency in 1933 and his New Deal program, the original intent of the Framers has been ignored in favor of the “living document” concept, i.e., whatever the three branches of government say it is. If everything from Social Security to the Affordable Care Act is Constitutional, then having Presidents not of natural born parents is as well, like it or not.
