Barry Johnson ousted two-term incumbent Abel Reyna as McLennan County district attorney, in a contentious race played out under the dark specter of the 2015 Twin Peaks shootout.
Johnson, 61, who practiced personal injury law in Dallas for 30 years before moving back to McLennan County last year, got 10,347 votes for 59.9 percent of the vote to Reynas 6,930 for 40.1 percent.

Lol! You obviously have not been listening to Johnson who says Reyna was a softie on prosecuting the gangsters!
You left out the part where he said he would reopen the investigation of the charges Reyna dismissed!
He said no such thing. You made that up out of thin air.
"He recites the well-known four corners of the instrument prepared for a Magistrates signature in any criminal proceeding. 1) Venue and date, on or about; 2) name of the accused; 3) probable cause; 4) elements of the offense."
That means most of those people have lawsuits against the county, and dearly hope you own property there.
