I saw it this weekend. Willis seems like he sleeps walk through it. As a Constitutional Conservative, I had a different impression. It portrays gun owners and gun stores as blood thirsty, knuckle draggers. Being that it is set in Chicago, the gun store in the movie allows you to walk out of there quickly with multiple weapons, including automatic machine guns. The original was much better.

Interesting take. Fortunately, I think the communists will be so enraged at the existence of this remake to care about how the theatrical embellishments about the availability of full auto weapons and the speed and ease of buying legal guns in Chicago. I’ll probably see it anyway because it seems like a fun time.

Maybe, in a way. I think that goes with his character’s persona as an E.R. doctor. Calm cool, and collected.
