I agree 100%. They are forming their defenses, destroying evidence, and intimidating witnesses.
If it initially began as a giant sting - good idea, but now so much information & anticipation of the sting taking place is out there, that any cover the investigators might have had, is blown. It would seem to me the time to act was months ago, but if not then, NOW. But what do I know????
