It appears Larry doesn’t take voting very seriously. That’s the problem with America these days. Our elections have become a joke. I don’t want to walk into a voting booth that has Tide Pod soap all over it. Get a job Larry! Why not have kindergarteners vote too? It should be lowered to first graders. When these kids are made aware that it is THEIR money being spent left and right by the government, they will put a stop to it.

If their access to illegals fails then lowering the voting age is another way of getting fresh millions of new voters.
I once sent a letter to a young man of 18 who married a girl because she told him she was pregnant and magically lost the baby two weeks later.

The girl wrote me back an extremely long text and said that as a “partial adult” she could make her own decisions.

under that age, they can't drive without special restrictions, they can't drink, they can't buy smokes, they can't vape, they can't join the military, they can't rent a car, they can't buy a gun...

Of course, and let's allow citizens who've just experienced an extremely rare instance of personal danger and extreme emotions set US policy in any area related to whatever they experienced.
And, as terrible as school shootings are, they have occurred at, what, 30 or 40 schools over 20 years, 30 or 40 out of around 100,000 K-12 schools in the US.
Some measures to increase safety should be adopted, but we also need to keep in mind how incredibly rare such incidents are.
Drinking age, voting age and age to buy/own guns should all be 16. Or maybe 14.
