Let me use this forum to reiterate that we do not “deem” people mentally deficient and deprive them of civil rights BEFORE DUE PROCESS!! Trump was way off base on that!! You get NOTICE, HEARING, AN ATTORNEY , A jury trial — and then we take your rights away if you meet specific statutory standards. We don’t have SHRINKS putting us on a list and if it ever gets to that , you can bet that instead of mentally ill people that think they are cats or the opposite sex, it will be Christians and conservative patriotic Americans that are put on the list to take their guns away.
