Somebody in a position of authority called the murder and told him when to go do it. The entire thing, from beginning to end, was a “deep state” operation aimed at damaging and discrediting The President in particular, and patriotic/conservative Americans in general.

I am beginning to think the FBI did act upon the tips they got about Cruz. I hate to say it but I really think it is likely that the FBI pushed this screwed up punk’s buttons until he went off. It's more than likely accurate.

I wrote about it years ago. Note the comments of one jsanders2001, who actually orchestrated these kinds of events for a living, overseas -- presumably in the employ of one of those three-letter government agencies.
