i just read “Let Trump Be Trump”, and don’t recall Gates’ name being in there. Of course, Manafort wasn’t there long (thank God), so not much time was given to him in the book.
Manafort wasn’t the best personnel choice Trump ever made.
Sure, but that book was by Lewandowski, who was fired and succeeded by Manafort and Gates, unlikely he’d talk highly or extensively about the people who succeeded him - and were more successful than him as campaign heads in a lot of ways.
There’s a lot of ‘score settling’ in that book re: Manafort from Lewandoski, I didn’t find it a particularly valuable book.
