Almost all of the political "talk" shows are like this. Always provide a forum for someone advocating a position based on emotion not substance. Why give equal time?

Or, the panel is stacked for one point of view.

These isues are exacerbated by the celebritification (new word?) of news people and politicians. They all care more about their re-election, approval ratings and which parties they're invited to than what they are elected or hired to do.

Maybe it's time for a news show that only "reports" the news.

Yes, yes, and more yes. People become politicians today because it is a means to extreme wealth and fame. Our founders must be weeping in heaven.
