Well, some people don’t like it but the tax code has forever been used to incentivize desired behavior, so instead of giving people a tax credit for solar power or buying a rice-burning car, why not reward teachers to buy a gun and obtain CCW training? Say a tax credit of 200% of the purchase price of the gun and training?
Trump can’t control idiot school boards but he can control this. And even if the schools ban guns inside their buildings like some of them idiotically will do, having one in the car might enable some kind of intervention if an attack occurs.

A tax credit is the same as paying someone. We aren’t supposed to have a nationalized domestic police force and this would be an unfortunate step toward that.
What Trump needs to do is to get his CIA/FBI house in order so they aren’t executing false flags in our schools.
And yes—let the locals address their individual school security.
