“I never said ‘give teachers guns’ like was stated on Fake News @CNN & @NBC. What I said was to look at the possibility of giving “concealed guns to gun adept teachers with military or special training experience - only the best.”
Trump needs to quit trying to make democrats happy and flat out say any teacher that wants to carry a concealed weapon will be given the training to use that weapon. You can get the training from a NRA certified expert at any shooting range, a lot of times for nothing. It does not take a rocket scientist to shoot a handgun.
Either way, it’s a states’ issue, not a federal issue. Constitutionally, Trump has no say. Only the “bully pulpit” which should not deter states and the people of the states to exercise their constitutional and sovereign right to do as they please here.
