A colorable argument can be made that the Right to Keep and Bear Arms exists even when the government says it does not, seeing as this right is God-given and beyond the scope of mankind's reach.

That's when things get really sticky, but that doesn't diminish the truth of it.

What we are calling “rights” here are actually privileges proffered by God to obedient believers. He can and will abridge them as disciplinary action.

Well, we have to live under the Rule of Law of the Constitution, otherwise we have either tyranny (which we have now) or anarchy. Unjust laws should be resisted but the Constitution is very just and is a shining example of natural law (the intent of God’s laws reflected in man’s laws). It is the Supreme Law of the Land and is directly mainly at creating and delegating certain limited enumerated powers to the feds.

The Constitution is the most inspired political document maybe ever conceived and written. It is a true reflection of natural law and is not unjust. The required constitutional amendment to allow federal regulation of gun ownership and use would almost certainly never happen. Gun rights are squarely a states issues in the hands of the people of each state.

The issue in our country is mainly ENFORCING THE CONSTITUTION as written and originally understood and intended.
