On a lighter note, This could be a business opportunity to market dieting tourism. Dropping 24 pounds would a healthy start for America’s ever-expanding obese population.
And it’s a diet plan that could be legally marketed with “proven & guaranteed results” slogans that back up the weight loss success stories.

Sounds like a great opportunity for cruise lines. They can offer a “Weight Loss” cruise to Venezuela. Should be a low cost trip, as well. The actual food costs would be quite manageable - near zero. There could even be a lower travel cost alternative on the horizon, too, as governor “Moonbeam” Brown implements similar policies in California.
Venezuela is more like a concentration camp than a country, sad to say.

As a result of the success of socialism the Venezuelans are consuming less and reducing their carbon foot print.

Considering the real exchange rate is 230 thousand to 1 dollar it is pretty easy to see how they do it. They do not produce any thing but oil and their output has been in a decline

They have a tropical paradise sitting on top of an ocean of oil and there’s no food in the stores?!? How hard do you have to FAIL to accomplish that?
They think it works in Western Europe. And it kinda-sorta-but-not-really does while the United States is footing the bill for continental defense.
