Here in Tallahassee, the Schools Superintendent excused the absences. Wonder how many kids actually went to the rally and how many used it as a 1/2 day off.

Sounds like the super needs a civics lesson as well. Their demands do NOT overrule my rights. Regardless of their thinking it does.
Here in Ocala, actually yesterday, there was small counter protest where people were holding signs saying “Arm the Teachers” and carrying Battle of Gonzalez flags - “Come and Take It”.
