...Broward Circuit Judge Jeffrey Levenson said the videos will be released Thursday at the earliest. The delay allows the Broward County Sheriff's Office or Broward County Public Schools time to appeal to the decision. It's not clear whether they will; the sheriff's office said Thursday that videos should be released.

Their usefulness will be entirely dependent upon in whose custody they have been held and if the video's are entire, without edits of any kind.

How will the reported 20 minute time-lapse be explained, I wonder?

The 20 mins, as I understand it, is in the broadcast. So it is recorded real time and can be seen real time in the school but then there is a 20 mins delay in broadcasting to the over all system. Why that even would be seems to be poor judgement for any reason.
