a powerful chorus of teenage voices is pushing those in Florida to limit access to semiautomatic rifles. Who granted them "power"....the media? Does this "power" supercede our constitution?

A complete ban is impossible - the Constitution deliberately erected checks and balances to the passions of temporary and excitable majorities.
Majority rule is important but so is protecting the rights of the minority. This is the genius of America.

Funny they aren’t airing the opinions of the kids who said gun control wouldn’t have stopped it and/or that there should be more armed people in schools to deter such evil....why aren’t their voices being blared out???
