When I Googled it, it appeared the NRA was initially supporting a ban but eventually saw the light and decided it'd be a bad idea.
Sadly, the president seems to be in the dark.
Once you start saying “Guns are the problem” it’s only a matter of time before confiscation.

The original Second Amendment has no permits in it for ‘concealed carry’ or ‘open carry’ and the list goes on of things embraced by the political machine aligned National Rifle Association.
I see no need for this regulation and it abridges the Second Amendment.
