Ask the Limp Caraway how many citizens of Texans are members of the NRA and if the Limp Caraway would like to lose their votes for himself and his RAT cohorts.
That's the thing, see: he knows he and his ilk never HAD those votes and never will, so he can insult them freely.
He also knows that generally speaking, we NRA members aren't big on noisy demonstrations, preferring direct action i.e., voting and letting our politicos know we'll support them as long as they don't mess wtih our guns.
That's why it's now legal to carry openly in Texas, to carry concealed on college campuses, to carry concealed without a permit, and much more that was unthinkable in the bad ol' days of Dimocrats like Ann Richards in the Governor's Mansion.
