She was sooo much fun, my poor dad was so overwhelmed by her and her 3 girls, but he loved us so he put up with us very patiently.
There wasn’t anything that happened in my life, personal or on the world stage, that I wouldn’t rush to the phone to talk it over with her.

Several of my aunts, cousins, and friends called today. It has been a blessed birthday.
Most unexpectedly, my mother called me today, too. The first time in many years. One cousin suggested that my mother was spoken to “from above”. Maybe so. It’s a step.
