Spring is a favorite with daffodils and tulips, just don’t last long enough, and the budding out of the various fruit trees in my area are beautiful.

Know how you feel about patching up old both material and human but sometimes things die and just HAVE to be replaced.

We had a funeral for our 23+ furnace as it was so tired and finally died, had to replace and am now looking forward to paying for it for a while.

I’m saying this cuz I want to know what your new venture is but will have to postpone any buying for a bit till I get our new furnace paid off, but do want to help in future. Good luck in your new endeavor.

Sorry Lucy is having issues and your friend is not helping her, good intentions I’m sure but aggravating.

That breakfast is SCRUMPTIOUS!! And, I happen to be drinking my (2nd cup of) covfefe in a mug that looks exactly like that! We got them at an old fashioned diner...loved the heavy crock feel.

Prayers up for NIKK and hoosiermama, as they navigate through the awful flooding. Stay safe, you two!

Good morning. My yard last night could have been declared a NO GO ZONE for sure. It was like we had the Ohio River in our back yard running to our next door storm sewer. Water from our subdivision and Oakwood one over...was running through our yard to get to the storm sewer.

Speaking of allergies, the only problem with Spring for me, the pine trees bear fruit and spread this yellow pollen all over everything, allergies BIGLY. But I survive sometimes with a sinus infection manifesting itself, doesn’t stop me from loving Spring.

Been watching FNC this morning, Maria is fantastic. Now Howie is on, haven’t had to scream at him yet. LOL

I have terrible year round alergies but like you the pine tree pollen is one of the worst

Dying furnaces suck. Mine died 5 years ago. Still not replaced. My heat is from fireplace, but in poorly insulated, souve like large Home, only does so much. Wood stove would help efficiency.

We’ve had considerable rain but not as much as Indiana, WV and Ky apparently

I am taking allergy meds and I slept propped up, last night. Feels like someone left a faucet running, in the back of my throat :(

Part of your “year round allergy problem” might be acerbated by having to burn wood, I know what are we going to do, have to TRY and keep warm. And certainly can’t stop breathing in the summer. LOL

We were gone from our mountain for 10 years and when we were looking for a home as we were moving back, neither hubby or I wanted a fireplace or a wood burning stove, me because of allergies, him because of constantly cutting and hauling wood.

Might have been one of those STUPID moments as we sometimes lose electricity and then the gas furnace won’t run but except for having only that one source for heating and it broke, we haven’t has any bad problems in 23+ years here.

We are still praying for MORE SNOW.

Sorry you are suffering too. Definitely not fun.

I have changed meds several times as they stop working for me. Local honey has helped when I can get it in the summer.

Does it seem like your allergies have gotten worse with age?

I'm feeling like mine are.
