I don't believe Africans should be blamed for all the committed by their forefathers. Neither should Americans be blamed for all the wrongs committed by their forefathers.
I wonder if he thinks reruns of The Dukes of Hazzard be banned or Confederate statues taken down?

Slavery is the oldest institution on this earth.
What's done is done, focus on making the future better, not assigning blame of something who's perpetrators are all dead and buried.
involuntary servitude is and always has been an “equal opportunity employer.”
Damned cotton . . .
No mater where you came from, if you go back in time, there will be someone related to you who was a slave. We still had it in the 50’s and it may still persist today in the form of labor camps if not down right auctions in Libya and ISIS occupied areas. Those are the known ones, I am sure there are many other examples.
Kinda foolish that, again, all animosity is directed at America while burying the Arab then 1400 years of Islamic participation. More people need to be aware of the trans Sahara slave trade, years of operation, intent, uses and it’s losses

None of us can change what has happened. Better to concentrate on things that can change and better what is going on today.
NO ONE is responsible for what their distant ancestors may have done.
I too am glad for this response. Slavery was an abomination. And we need to stop playing the blame game. There were good and bad people on both sides of the Atlantic and of both races. May G— forgive those who were practitioners or accomplices to this atrocity.
if they hadn’t of had value and been sold... they would have been killed.
This is shown in the movie “Roots”.
Africans were sold into slavery by other Africans and brought to America.
“Thank God My Granddaddy Got On That Boat” - Muhammad Ali
The DEA goes after the dealers, not the users. But with slavery we ignore the dealers and demonize only the users.
Are Blacks going to demand reparations from Blacks?
Geez, what a great guy. /sarc
They’re still selling their brothers and sisters to mussulman buyers. Old traditions die hard.
