Well done.
WOW! How the heck did he get an AR-15 with a diagnosed mental disorder? What kind of psychiatric drugs was he taking?
The Florida Mental Health Act of 1971 (Florida Statute 394.451-394.47891 (2009 rev.)), commonly known as the "Baker Act," allows the involuntary institutionalization and examination of an individual. The Baker Act allows for involuntary examination (what some call emergency or involuntary commitment).
This is an EXCELLENT visual. (One double for 2017, wish you could edit)
If this were everywhere in the news, as it should be, it would show the American people that guns did not play a part here. Holy hell, he could have driven a truck into the school, mowed them all down, and jumped out and stabbed a few, and still have injured and killed the same #.
Great job.
You could add you tuber reports name to fbi in 2017, nothing happened.
You could, add health and human services (find the reference) called to his house because he was cutting himself.
It am sure there are others.
My kid is asking me for just this. Can you also consider the inaction of the broward school board in this as a diamond block? Its white, all female, and all leftist. It couldn’t be more diverse.
Nice work Laz!
Excellent.
Perfect visual history.
Well done, Laz.
Do we know why the police were called there 31 times?
Do we know that 2 times in 2010, 3 times in 2011, 7 times in 2012, etc etc, probable cause existed for an arrest?
Cruz diagnosed with mental illness, really. Was it or was it not, the Democrats that made it so people couldn’t be institutionalized involuntarily? While that doesn’t comfort anyone about what happened, and I’m as disgusted as anyone about this, but there are factors at play here that don’t help the situation.
What this scumbag did is evil at it’s worst. Especially when you take into account that he just laid down for the cops when they took him into custody and that he’s “remorseful”.
Until anyone on here or anywhere knows the context of all those 911 calls, no one can say anything or judge what took place those 31 times. Cops get called to peoples homes for all sorts of stuff, like, unruly children - kids not behaving - kids not doing what they’re told - etc etc etc.
I have no idea what went on with the FBI and BCSO with regards to the, tip, that was sent to the FBI. Everyone wants to blame the FBI for being incompetent and not acting on the tip, while at the same time going to the FBI for help. Am I the only one that sees some irony there?
Here’s something ... There is no crime of, Murder, in the federal code. The Feds can go after you for civil rights abuse, that resulted caused/resulted in a death. Which is something they sometimes do in the event that the State is unsuccessful in it’s prosecution for, MURDER(mass or otherwise). Or, they can prosecute someone under the Terrorism laws that caused/resulted in the deaths of other(Tsarnaev’s, etc). The FBI has been involved in mission creep for a very long time, Ruby Ridge, Waco, Oregon Wildlife Refuge/Finicum murder, etc. They also have been developing quite a resume for entrapment and prosecutions based solely on the testimony of informants.
This entire thing should have been handled on the local level. If people want to start pointing fingers, that’s fine. But, figure out where to point them.
Here’s an idea, that goes right back to ol’ fashioned police work...
Find out what FBI Agent got the tip ... find out what the agent did with the tip ... if they saw it in there, inbox, and deleted it, then you’ve just identified someone to hold accountable ... if the agent passed the information on to a member of BCSO, as they should have done, then you find out who from BCSO got the tip ... If they did nothing with it, then you just found someone to hold accountable ... so and so forth, until you come to the end.
If the FBI wants to stonewall and not freely, provide the information, either the Director or the President can order them to turn over the info ... OR ... Bondi and the Governor can go to court and get a search warrant for the information and there’s nothing the FBI can do about it.
Of course, the issue of security in schools needs someone with brass balls to step up and make something happen. But, I don’t think there’s but a handful of people in the country like that and none of them are in a position to have an impact.
On a side note, it’s quite surprising to me that the Sheriff in Broward Cty is such a Democrat. Makes you wonder if he really believes in his job and it’s mission.
Excellent work.
Left out the part about him being expelled after being caught with ammunition but not calling the police; unless this isn’t true.
So this guy was on SSRI’s?
Dade County implemented this policy in 2012, which resulted in Trayvon Martin being suspended and vacationing in Sanford, FL. Broward County implemented this policy in 2013, which resulted in this shooting.
