As an adoptive father I have to say the current state of the practice is depressing.
Americans adopt overseas for the same reason men are going MGTOW: to avoid people using the legal environment to destroy their lives and families. But now, when they do, these countries are using them to dump their “broken children.”
It’s heart breaking any way you look at it.
