A school building for 4000 students cannot be cheap. So they plan to destroy a perfectly good building because it brings back bad memories?

How about just remodeling some of the areas where the killings happened?

You can be sure that this will become the norm when it happens again. Not just schools, but everywhere it happens will need to be torn down and rebuilt.

With OUR money of course.

Emotions based decision making and blowing taxpayer money is the usual Democrat response to everything. They love blaming inanimate objects almost as much as spending other people’s money.

The county is 100% Democrat. They don’t let tragedies go to waste.

This I the kind of “non-thinking” that led to the tragedy!
“I feel bad when I see the building. Let’s build a new building! Now I will feel good!”

“If we institutionalized Cruz he might feel bad, which would make us feel bad. We will keep him ‘main streamed ( meaning in the public!)’ and giving him counseling. He’ll feel better about himself and we will feel good to!”

Also don’t discount the fact that all the institutions that dropped the ball might have been afraid of the lurking “civil rights” attorney ready to pounce and make sure Cruz is treated like a normal person (which he isn’t!) plus make a tidy sum for themselves on the side.

Don’t you know? The tax payers have money to burn. What a waste.Newtown Connecticut did the same thing.Rhat was also very stupid. They could have renovated the place it would have been much cheaper in the long run.Especially for a near bankrupt state like Connecticut.

This is classic deep state MO. Same with Sandy Hook, and other ‘shock’ incidents. Bulldoze the school before the forensics people can have a look, nothing to see here. Don’t ask the uncomfortable questions, like why are there a preponderance of these ‘troubled youth’ who ‘heard voices’ in their heads, and they happen to also be on psychotropic drugs? Don’t investigate the conflicting reports. Push the anti gun agenda, and make sure even the Hispanic kid is portrayed as a white Trump supporter. It’s sickening.

Did anyone see the photo of the ‘grieving mom’, who was also photographed at the Las Vegas shooting. Same MO as Sandy Hook. It’s time to WAKE UP y’all.

It is verrrrrrrrrry costly to build a school. The money would be better spent with interior remodeling and providing counseling for fellow students and the families of the victims. And the lawsuit defenses.

They are referring to one building on the campus. The high school is comprised of many buildings.
