The real irony in this may be that perhaps Cruz was looking to be stopped, and the authorities and “grown-ups” who should have been there to help kept backing away - he posted for all to see that he wanted to become a pro high school shooter and included his correct name - yet the school authorities were too concerned with protecting him from the nasty mean police to reach out, and the FBI were doing who knows what - looking for someone to write another dossier maybe - to take action - real disgrace.....
The FBI were and are to busy trying to frame PRESIDENT TRUMP for something imaginary to actually follow up on a real stated threat.
