The indictment is based on a theory that any foreigner who spends money advocating in US elections (See Carlos Slim's NYT) is in violation of US criminal statutes. Does this mean that when the Guardian editorialized about the US presidential election and called Trump a "big meanie" that they've committed a felony?

Where are those Russians? Are they in the place from which they can be extradited?
How strong is case against them? How will the case against them develop?
Is there a lawyer or better yet a judge amongst us who can tell us?

Under Mueller's theory of how the law works, yes. They have not registered in the US under FARA, and its advocacy is therefore illegal interference in a US election.
