The Justice Department on Friday indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian groups of violating criminal laws with the intent to interfere with "with U.S. elections and political processes", according to agency.

According to the agency, "the indictment charges all of the defendants with conspiracy to defraud the United States, three defendants with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and five defendants with aggravated identity theft."

The indictment says that some defendants "communicated with unwitting individuals associated with the Trump campaign" without revealing their association with Russia. The indictment also says the defendants posted negative information about a number of candidates during the last general election.

"Defendants operations included supporting the presidential campaign on then-candidate Donald J. Trump and disparaging Hillary Clinton" his Democratic rival, according to the indictment.

So any American who posted something in support of Brexit, does this mean they can be indicted by the British for election interference?

Using that term is actually a good thing for the Trump campaign. Blame it all on the Russians. OTOH, Hillary’s campaign approached the Russians to purposely collude with the.

This was planned to cover the Nunes bombshell. At least it gets the endless looping of the Florida school shooting by a thug. But I must tell you that I can’t even make up a crime against the Russians. Did you know that Russians have Free speech here? They absolutely do. Wire fraud? What are the facts? Bank Fraud?? What are the facts supporting that. If you are American in Russian— GET OUT!! They will soon seize Americans to trade for these Russian citizens wrongfully detained. This is absurd!!! Hillary lost the election!! Not the Russians— GIVE IT UP!!

I’m wondering when Mueller is going to indict Mexican nationals and Mexican entities for interfering in our elections? Or Saudi, etc?

13 Russians and a Partridge in a pear tree. One guy had a sign outside the White House. Read all the charges. Sounds like the Russians or learning how to play the game.

I actually know a couple of Russians who find this whole thing hilarious. All 145 million of them are probably laughing their butts off at Mueller.

Investigators could probably arrest/charge thousands of Russian nationals on any given day. they are all involved in crimes. Meuller has now “jumped the shark”. He indicted some russians for wire fraud and other criminal acts. then says “they also support trump and said bad things about Hillary. This is BS. Meuller is really grabbing at straws.
I guess Sessions is sitting this out!

How, exactly, is this a crime? How is this different from Obama going to London to interfere in THEIR vote on BREXIT?

Or more to the point, how is this different than Obama sending DNC operatives to camp out in Israel attempting to derail Netanyahu's campaign?
