I keep seeing this. One can be white and be Hispanic, they are not mutually exclusive. The definition of "white" is of European, North African, or Middle Eastern origin (i.e. Caucasian). The term Hispanic includes those of either Spanish or Latin American descent. That whole Spain thingy is the connection. His last name is Cruz by adoption, he wasn't born into the surname. To me, he looks more European mutt (like me) than anything else.
