Well I’LL check back in with you the next time your “free will” “allows” some crazed killer, you never met, to go on a random rampage.

You are missing the point completely.

I am not saying my “free will allows some crazed killer” (your words) to go on a rampage. That is an idiotic statement. I don’t see how you arrived at it.

What I am saying is we can take action to alter the flow of events. God gives us that ability. Given the choice between sitting, unarmed in a room, praying to God the killer doesn’t come in and sitting, armed and ready in a room, praying to God to guide my aim, I know which path I would rather take.

However there are those that want to prevent us from having that choice.

Show me the scripture that tells us God wishes us to stand passively by and witness the events He has prescribed.

I don't know if I have a problem with compelling or enabling school officials to be armed, I'm inclined to be for it but I am against government education in general.

My problem it the thinking that crime can be prevented. Just as with enemies in war, the criminals always get a vote. The also get the element of surprise. You could give every single student a personal Secret Service agent and still not prevent an attack.
