That gun is 18-20 inches from his head. Not 3 feet. Cops are supposed to move weapons away from suspects. Doesn’t matter that he was dead. They failed to do so.

If that is indeed a real crime scene photo of Steven Paddock's body after he committed suicide, after firing hundreds of rounds on the crowd.
How come there is a blood free casing laying on top of the pool of blood from His "self inflicted gun shot" to His head?

I’ve seen the image including the chest. There appears to be a chest wound also. This would correspond with the videos that pick up two final shots 8 seconds apart at the end of the shooting episode.
