It's obvious they didn't even bother searching. If they had, with the resource capabilities the FBI has today, they would have discovered whatever social media pages he had, or comments this POS had made. I can search for my own screen name, and get links to comments I made back in 2007. With the spelling of his first name, it wouldn't have been a chore to track him down. They simply didn't try. Did they even bother to meet with the guy who reported the comment to them last September?
The digital footsteps we all leave behind on servers and etc. is easy to check out if you have a few minutes and just a little interest.
What the FBI NSA and the rest of the alphabet secret FISA court crap is all about has nothing to do with solving or preventing crime. It's all about political enemies and weapons.
We should end the whole secret court business. And the FBI should be made the poster child by moving HQ to a small town in central Nebraska, or maybe somewhere in a dry county.
