I think that is what determines whether they go whole investigation or “Oooooooooooo, we couldn’t find him.”
It’s getting harder and harder to believe what Director Wray says about the shining example of efficiency the department represents. In retrospect, he looks rather foolish.

Sad that this is what might’ve had to happen to knock this guy down a peg or two. He and his cohorts have been up on their high horses too long. (Mixed metaphor???)
