How exactly would additional gun laws help?

It is probably 18 years-old limit to by a rifle or shotgun in Florida. It is too bad that the school didn’t prosecute him for making terroristic threats - then that would have been in the record. Instead they tell him he can’t bring a back-pack to school. Or his neighbors go after him for shooting at their chickens.
