Sure; the same if you’re cultural defining moment occurs within a sporting event like football. It speaks volumes about your culture, as well as the fans of the movie or sport.

America has been defined by a handful of events in history, starting in 1776.
I hardly think that the release of a 2nd string comic book movie will be considered one of them.
