“E-Verify almost certainly will be used for purposes unrelated to immigration.”
Totally true. Remember the “Patriot Act”.
Besides isn’t it the fedgov’s job to regulate immigration and the borders?
Where the hell do they get off forcing companies to do THEIR job?
Do companies get paid to “e-verify” everyone? Or is this another job they have to do for free for the fedgov?
Yes.
Thank you!

Sickening. 6 posts of PRO before ONE pointing out the obvious. Prob. the same peeps, every 2 years, screaming, “If you DON’T vote for the (R), you’re voting for the (D)”...’cuz (R) have been STELLAR at the whole ‘small govt’ thing, right? *SMH*
There has NEVER been a ‘nose under the tent’ that hasn’t been broadened WAY PAST its intended purpose(s).
“Oh, no, the tax code will NEVER target the ‘non-rich’”, “..tax code will NEVER get above 3%”, “FISA will ONLY be used against FOREIGN...”, “NSA doesn’t gobble up ALL electronic communication!”
Isnt it the fedgovs job to collect taxes? Where do they get of having your employer do that? Where do they get off have every business do that with sales tax?
“Besides isnt it the fedgovs job to regulate immigration and the borders?”
They've had radical success in turning employers into tax-collectors (withholdings) and, insofar as I can tell, requiring them to render the service involuntarily is involuntary servitude
, no?
