There are different kinds of schizophrenia, paranoid schizophrenia being the most dangerous because the patients experience scary delusions of persecution. A person with untreated paranoid schizophrenia can be dangerous. My sister has “disorganized schizophrenia”, she is not dangerous in any way. She’s mainly extremely confused all the time, and her delusions are harmless, sometimes even amusing.
