I wrote here about the void in the Trump/Sessions, where four nominees for Assistant Attorney General positions are being held up due to Senate inaction. The four positions are crucial ones: Assistant Attorney General, Civil Division; Assistant Attorney General, Civil Rights Division; Assistant Attorney General, Criminal Division; and Assistant Attorney General, National Security Division.
Why can’t these nominees get a vote? Apparently, it’s because of marijuana. Sen. Cory Gardner is vexed with Attorney General Sessions over enforcement of Federal marijuana laws in Colorado.
Alfred Regnery, citing just one of the four major gaps at the Justice Department, points out the absurdity of the situation:
There is no permanent presidential appointee at the Justice Department in charge of combating terrorism because a Republican senator has put discretionary federal marijuana enforcement above U.S. national security in his priorities.
No matter how one feels about the dispute between Sessions and Gardner over enforcement of federal marijuana laws in Colorado, it is the height of irresponsibility to block the administration from staffing key positions at the DOJ over this matter. As Christian Adams has illustrated, the absence of presidential appointees at the Assistant Attorney General level leaves left-wing Obama holdovers with enormous sway at the Justice Department. Sen. Gardner’s priorities are grossly out of whack.

I have seen no evidence that filibusters were approved of by the writers of the Constitution. They definitely violate the charge of advice and consent given the Senate in the Constitution.

I’m afraid it is Sessions with the crossed priorities, he’s more worried about the federal prohibition crusade than anything else. Glad to see a Senator sticking up for his State instead of kowtowing to parties anyway...

I wonder how they are going to keep organized crime out of this market. It seems like a natural for them to chase the licensed dealers out of business.
There is no way that Soros “protector” would keep him from the Nazis if he were a Nazis. This interview reveals a lot about him, none the less.

Soros runs his own mouth bragging about what he did in 1944. I say the man is pure evil. The Jews in Europe before WWII, especially those in Germany, Austria, Hungary etc. were the industrialists/real wealth. If you or I had even 10% of all that cash/other assets that the Jewish business types had, we’d be very wealthy. My father took us to Dachau in 1957 or 58. We saw the brick walls with incinerators in them that were used to burn the Jew’s bodies. The gas chamber rooms/areas were not pleasant. My old man rode in there during WWII as the first Signal Corps officer of Patton’s, and; he had a private collection of photos in a desk in our house. I saw that pack when I was 15 or so. They made every dead VC/NVA who my yards had blown away in combat look like they were killed with respect. The skeleton like bodies of the survivors they freed is a lasting memory from those photos. I recall him talking with other senior officers years later how they ordered healthy looking types to roll up their sleeves. Basically some of the Nazis types tried to escape by putting on concentration camp duds. They did kill some of these hard core Nazi SS guards.
