They’ll sell their pin for .50 on the dollar. Or 2 will meet at a store, pretend they know each other and the one with the card buys $200. worth of food, and the other person pays them about $100. Etc etc...Lots of creative ways.
Never takes long for scammers a way to beat the system and rip others off.
