Really? I have family in the area and have been in Boston more times than I can count. Be Black and walk through Southie or the North End at night. Be White and walk through Roxbury and Mission Hill. How many Black live out on the Cape? How many Blacks on the T headed to Government center. Who fought busing the hardest? Watch Louise Day Hicks commercials. There are very few cities in the South that don’t have mixed cities.
How does that compare to Boise,Denver,Fargo,or even New York City?
There are black areas and there are white areas.

Busing and LD Hicks is going back 40-45 years-———Boston has undergone significant changes since then,as has most of the country.
