UNITED NATIONS (AP) North Korea said Friday it can't pay nearly $184,000 in dues to the United Nations because of U.N. sanctions that prevent the transfer of funds from Pyongyang.
North Korea's U.N. Mission said sanctions imposed by the Security Council in early August on the Foreign Trade Bank of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, which is in charge of international transactions, made payment impossible.
The mission said Ambassador Ja Song Nam met Undersecretary-General for Management Jan Beagle Friday afternoon to request the opening of "banking channels" to make the DPRK's required $183,458 payment for 2018 for the U.N.'s regular operations and separate budgets for peacekeeping and international tribunals.
The Security Council imposed sanctions on the bank in a wide-ranging resolution following North Korea's first successful tests of intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of reaching the United States on July 3 and July 27.

So kick them out.
L
So, we foreclose and take possession!
Problem solved.
I’m inclined to give North Korea a pass on this one. The UN is high on the list of things not worth paying, sanctions or not.
Get some of that Obama cash from their friends in Iran. From the cash pallets secretly flown there in the dead of night. Peanuts, out of that pile. One suitcase ought to do it.
The problem as stated does not mean the Norks lack the funds, the problem is that since they are excluded from the international banking system, they have no means to transfer the funds to the UN
By not paying dues, the norks are out. Therefore, they can’t be kicked out. They are already our
N. Korea is extremely poor compared to S. Korea . In N. Korea as in Venezuela almost all the people are starving as an economy run by socialism(no privately owned businesses) cannot even produce enough food for the population.
S. Korea allows private ownership of businesses and a free market (capitalism). This is why this tiny country is a world economic power with for profit companies like Samnsung(smart phones , electronics, Hundai (cars etc) , Kia etc.
To have a great economy a country needs 1. free market Capitalism . private ownership of business.
2.Competition in a free market with very few government regulations and no government interference. Private businesses must be free of government regulations to be able to enter the market and make a profit . Low government interference , low government regulations allow competition and a free market.
By all means, let’s take up a collection...
You miss the point. You don’t understand
North korea is for the rulers. North korea is not for the ruled
Yeah let's talk about that. South Korea slaps, at a minimum, an 8% tariff on our goods we export to them while we let their cars, TV's etc. into our market duty free. What screw job and what thanks for saving their asses from the commies. Screw South Korea. F them. Those dog eaters are not our friends.
We need to slap a 10% tariff on all imported goods form South Korea until they drop their import tariff. If you don’t agree with me then you are a Free Traitor.
Cash is fine...
The media are the enemy and threat to the American people's way of life and freedom:

I agree . I was just comparing South Korea(capitalism) vs North Korea(socialism).
But s. Korea and Japan are the tiny tigers. The big tiger is china.Almost everything is made in China.
The USA is now a 3rd world country 20 trillion in debt, 150 trillion in unfunded liabilities because of government regulations, Barack Obama and China.
China has been waging an economic war against the USA for 30 plus years. America first . Fortress America.

Every dollar of trade deficit represents about 10 cents in lost wages for Americans. The people losing out are our most vulnerable economically. This gives capitalism a bad name. Global capitalism is losing game for the average American.
It’s even more than that. China is deindustrializing the USA, turning the USA back to the stone age. These articles show that:

The media has hidden what china is doing to the USA as they’ve Hidden the democrat coupt against Trump.
In lieu of payment they should be the home of the UN.
U.S.A. Gives the u.n. How many 100s of million?
Norks refuse even a dime.
Still the utterly worthless u.n. Does its best to not go along with the u.s.?
Great articles BTW. Thanks for the links.
