I enjoyed Science Fiction growing up. There must be a high percentage of female Science Fiction authors with sexual deviancy, I started avoiding female authors because even as a teen, reading their works felt like drinking sewage.
Most of 'em, near as I could tell. At least in their writing. I read a few of Anne McCaffrey's "Dragonrider" books ... eventually she got too weird for me. I read ONE of the "Darkover" books ... that was very off-putting. Of course, Heinlein was a weirdo too, so it's not just the women.
I remember trying to read The Left Hand of God, by Ursula Le Guin, and finding it twisted and disturbed. It certainly wasn't "science fiction" in any sense that appealed to me.
