really? I know of priests who bless and anoint homes and offices...and prayers of saint michael to ward off the devil...
There is a difference between a blessing for a new home and an exorcism. A blessing of a home is a celebration. The homeowner is thanking God, from whom a blessings flow, for the gift of a new dwelling. It is not meant to drive out evil spirits or any of the crap that Begley was talking about. It can be done by a priest or a deacon or by the homeowner them self.
