Elementary school children are old enough to react to this situation with a phrase I heard frequently when my children were of that age: “Ooo gross!”
To: outpostinmass2
And it teaches in our schools.
And our schools are so very desperate for teachers that they will accept anything for any position.
Standards?
They don’t need no stinkin’ standards.

For me that means I identify as both a male and female, and I plan to move toward presenting myself and identifying as female.
What it means is you are a swishy little faggot.

30 years ago, they would have called this person crazy, and moved him away from children.
Now, they stand and applaud.

It’s Massachusetts. I’m surprised he did not discover he was an Indian too.

And that should have resulted in immediate firing for morals clause, risk to kids, and apparent deception up to this point. Lying, emotionally challenged, perverts have no business in our schools.

I’m glad I went to the Hadley school instead of the Stanley school. For those not familiar with the place, Swampscott is a beautiful seaside community between Lynn, Mass and Marblehead, Mass. It is primarily upper middle class and its demographics include mostly Jews and Caltholics. When I lived there, the minorities were white protestants. I don’t recall ever seeing a brown or black person.
I spent three years of my youth living directly across from Fisherman’s beach in Swampscott.

Oh yes, it’s ALL about “her”
Never mind the position of responsibility to children, it’s “her” that takes precedent

They say that one cannot be a devout Christian and run a business such as a bakery because to deny making a same-sex “wedding” cake is discrimination, but they celebrate individuals in positions of authority over our children who espouse transgenderism. The country has lost its collective marbles.

What if a principal proudly proclaimed they were heterosexual.
Everyone would look at each other..and say “huh?”
Then the admin would probably fire him for sexism...?

Let's apply the reality filter:
He goes on to note his public announcement was met with nothing but support from the school that he leads.
The wonderful Stanley School community is incredibly warm and accepting, he writes. I am proud to be the leader of this school, and I sincerely believe that the ability to live my life openly and authentically gives me great serenity and will make me a more sensitive, empathetic and effective leader.
He ended with a request: I humbly ask that you support me as you would any family member going through a profound life change.
As the principals identity transitions physically, he offered a trio of ways for parents to relay the changes to their children:
Thise are many different ways boys and girls express themselves. It is important that we accept everyone as they are.
Principal Daniels may look and sound different, but inside, Principal Daniels is the same, caring person.
This doesnt change the fact that Stanley School is a great place to be and learn.
Principal Daniels has shared with us the intensely personal decision to identify as transgender, wrote Swampscott Superintendent Pamela Angelakis in a letter to the Swampscott Community. This will mark the beginning of an important community dialogue on the issue.
With that said, Angelakis noted the Swampscott Public Schools will be providing opportunities for education and conversation about this topic in the near future.
She applaued Daniels and stated her admiration for the principals courage, honesty and transparency
